Advocacy for domestic violence survivors is inextricably linked to their safety if they can't remove barriers that create risk. In this training, you will learn the rules of advocacy, the characteristics of a great advocate, and the SPEAKS model which includes specific tools to remove barriers and decrease the risk to their safety. This training is based on two decades of experience advocating for domestic violence survivors.
